Короткий огляд (реферат): Optimizing nutrient management is essential for improving the productivity and profitability of perennial bioenergy crops on marginal soils. This study evaluated the effects of mineral fertilization, a humic-based biostimulant, and a titanium-containing micronutrient preparation on the growth, biomass yield, and economic performance of Miscanthus & times; giganteus grown on acidic low-fertility soil in Western Ukraine from 2022 to 2025. A repeated-measures mixed-model analysis showed significant effects of treatment, year, and treatment & times; year interaction for the main growth and productivity parameters, indicating a year-dependent fertilization response. Integrated fertilization improved plant height, shoot formation, dry biomass yield, and biofuel output compared with the unfertilized control. The highest mean dry biomass yield was obtained with N30P30K30 + Black Jack, reaching 16.43 t ha-1 and exceeding the control by approximately 40%, while N30P30K30 + Intermag Titan also showed high productivity. Dry biomass yield was strongly associated with plant height, confirming the role of structural development in biomass formation. Economic assessment indicated the highest long-term profitability for N30P30K30 + Black Jack. These findings indicate that integrated fertilization is an effective strategy for sustainable miscanthus biomass production on marginal soils.

Короткий огляд (реферат): Soil degradation in the Southern Steppe of Ukraine requires effective biological approaches to restoring chernozem fertility. Methods: This study evaluated the combined use of legume crops, mixed sowings and microbial biopreparations during a 3-year field experiment conducted in 2022–2024. Agrochemical, microbiological and statistical methods were used to assess changes in soil properties and crop productivity. Results: The integrated B5 treatment, combining mixed sowings with Azotokhelp, Helprost Universal, Phytocid and Organic-Balance, produced the strongest response. Humus content increased by 31%, readily available nitrogen by 40%, and the total number of soil microorganisms by 3.2 times. Nitrogen-fixing bacteria increased by 6.4 times, while dehydrogenase activity increased by 4.1 times. These improvements were accompanied by higher crop productivity: soybean yield increased by 75%, chickpea by 64% and lucerne green mass yield by 59%. Protein content and other yield-quality indicators also improved. Conclusion: The findings indicate that integrated legume-based biological management can enhance soil fertility, microbial activity and crop productivity. This approach may support regenerative agriculture and the restoration of degraded agroecosystems, although its long-term stability and economic feasibility require further evaluation.

Triticum
біохімії, філогенетики і генетики, а також практичної селекції та аграрного менеджменту.; -; A brief overview of the current state of expansion of Aegilops cylindrica in agrocenoses of grain crops (especially
wheat) in Ukraine and the world is presented. Based on our analysis of available evidence and literature data, as well as our
own observations in Ukraine, it is shown that these processes pose a real threat to food security, which is facilitated by several
factors. Since representatives of the genus Aegilops are quite closely related to the genus Triticum (they belong to the same tribe, Triticeae, and were the donor of one of the subgenomes of hexaploid wheat), this causes a rather high similarity of plants
of these genera, in particular Aegilops cylindrica and Triticum aestivum, in their ecological parameters and requirements,
physiological processes and reactions, which significantly complicates weed control. Possible exchange of genetic material
between the two species could lead to genetic erosion of wheat cultivars and the emergence of herbicide-resistant genetic
lines of weeds, although the available evidence for this remains quite contradictory. The search for solutions of the problem
should be based on an integrated approach considering and combining data, methods, and approaches from ecology, phytocoenology and phytosociology, physiology, and biochemistry, phylogenetics and genetics, as well as applied plant breeding
and agricultural management.

Короткий огляд (реферат): Within the research, the peculiarities of introducing innovations in the agricultural sector of Ukraine during martial law were studied, in particular, the development of organic farming as a strategy for preserving soil fertility, increasing the sustainability of agricultural production and ensuring food security. The role of green manure crops in restoring soil fertility and cleaning contaminated land was analysed, and the effectiveness in enriching the soil with organic matter, improving its structure and reducing the level of toxic substances was emphasised. Attention was focused on how important it was to integrate innovative technologies into the agricultural sphere in order to ensure the sustainable development of the agricultural sector of Ukraine. The problem of financing organic farming under conditions of military conflict was considered separately. The importance of state support and international assistance for the introduction of effective methods of organic farming, which did not require large capital investments but demonstrated high ecological and economic potential, was substantiated. The results of the research could be useful for developing recommendations on improving the efficiency of managing agricultural processes under martial law, forming policies to support small farms, and developing programmes for restoring the agricultural sector after the end of hostilities.
