Процес глобалізації економіки закономірно зумовлює зростання кількості підприємств, які у своїй діяльності спираються на стандарти соціальної відповідальності: права людини, екологічна та економічна складові, соціальне забезпечення, охорона здоров’я тощо. На даному етапі стандарти соціальної відповідальності включають положення щодо стійкого розвитку, соціально відповідального інвестування, соціального аудиту тощо. Тобто, відбувається поширення цих стандартів на різні сфери і напрями бізнесової діяльності. Соціальна відповідальність поєднує у собі саме ті сучасні технології в економіці та управлінні, за рахунок яких забезпечується ефективне господарювання при одночасному дотриманні соціальних зобов’язань: реалізація соціальних проектів, захист і турбота про працівників, екологічне ставлення до навколишнього середовища, соціальне партнерство, виробництво екологічної продукції тощо.
In the article the features of the functioning of social responsibility of subjects in the agrarian sector of the economy from the points of standardization and certification of production are investigated. It is found that principles and standards of social responsibility should be traced at all levels of functioning both on the global and on the local levels. The main international and domestic organizations concerning the standardization and certification of products in the agrarian sector are analyzed. It is established that countries that actively use the principles of social responsibility occupy the leading positions in the competitiveness rating and have a high economic level. It is grounded that social responsibility is the key to the successful development of any business entity in the agrarian sector of the economy.
