Abstract

The article examines the role of gender policy in the recovery of territorial communities. Emphasis is placed on integrating a gender-sensitive approach into governance processes, promoting social justice and inclusion. The importance of fair resource allocation, addressing the needs of diverse social groups, and engaging citizens in decision-making processes is highlighted. Special attention is given to the use of gender-responsive budgets, the collection of gender statistics, and the establishment of advisory bodies. It is emphasized that implementing gender policy reduces social tensions, removes barriers to resources and services, and fosters sustainable community development. Recommendations for integrating a gender approach to enhance governance efficiency are presented.
