Methods for Organising Conferences for Electrical Engineering Specialists via Distance Learning

Abstract

The article describes the developed method for organizing scientific conferences for educating electrical engineering specialists via distance learning. The method involves six stages: outlining the theme of the conference in the frame of the studied discipline and taking into account professional features; discussing abstract theses of reports; preparing abstract reports; preparing electronic tools for the implementation of a scientific conference; preparing future specialists in electrical engineering to speak online and preparing them for discussions in the context of their own report, taking into account the specifics of the specialty. It is determined that for the organization and holding the conference via distance learning for educating specialists in electrical engineering it is necessary carefully to prepare the topic and directions of the conference, as well as to create sections in accordance with scientific directions. It was emphasized that the theme of such an event should be modern and interesting for students, should include the latest technologies of electrical engineering and tools in the field of power engineering. It is substantiated that theses should reflect the materials of own or co-authored research. It is noted that the text of theses should contain the relevance of the problem, the scientific novelty, the purpose, methods and results of a research, as well as conclusions. The offered technique of the organization of scientific conferences for educating specifics in electric engineering via distance learning was tested in the Mykolayiv National Agrarian University. The results obtained before and after the experiment were verified using the statistical λ by the Kolmogorov-Smirnov criterion. It is proved that this author's method of educating specialists in electrical engineering via distance learning is promising.
