Abstract

The article deals with the implementation of the competently-oriented computer environment in training of Masters of engineering specialties. Competently-oriented computer environment is also considered as a mean of training, which is implemented in full-time and part-time education. The article also outlines the advantages of competently-oriented computer environment for Masters of engineering specialties, describes the main purpose of implementing competently-oriented computer environment in the traditional education system, observes the concept of distance course in terms of competently-oriented computer environment. This technology is considered as a set of pedagogical techniques based on the principles of open and computer training and active learning methods in communicating information and educational environment for the education of users distributed in space and time. Training seminars are used as methods for preparing lecturers for the implementation of competently-oriented computer environment in engineering disciplines in the learning process. The main components of competently-oriented computer environment and the requirements for creating engineering course are described.
