Abstract: One of the options for modern improvement of three-phase transformers is the use of symmetric spatial electromagnetic systems with twisted magnetic circuits, which are better than planar analogs in terms of their weight and dimensions. The paper considers the features of calculating losses in steel and proposes technical solutions to improve the distribution of the magnetic field in a twisted butt-shaped spatial magnetic core, which makes it possible to reduce losses in steel and the no-load current of the transformer.
