Abstract

У цій статті детально розглянуто розвиток української грошової одиниці в різні історичні періоди. Досліджено види та дизайн грошових знаків на території України в часи Київської Русі, УНР, Директорії, СРСР, Німецької окупації та діяльності УПА, а також у період незалежної України. З’ясовано, що кожен період мав свої певні фактори, які перешкоджали становленню національної валюти. Доведено, що українці пройшли досить важкий шлях для того, щоб здобути омріяну власну грошову одиницю./This article examines in detail the development of the Ukrainian monetary unit in different historical periods. The types and design of currency signs on the territory of Ukraine during the times of Kyivan Rus, the Ukrainian People's Republic, the Directory, the USSR, the German occupation and the activities of the UPA, as well as during the period of independent Ukraine were studied. It was found that each period had its own certain factors that hindered the formation of the national currency. It has been proven that Ukrainians have gone through a rather difficult path in order to obtain their dream currency unit.
