Розвиток платіжної інфраструктури України в умовах цифровізації фінансових послуг

Abstract

У статті досліджено сучасний стан та основні тенденції розвитку платіжної інфраструктури України в умовах цифровізації фінансових послуг. Проаналізовано вплив інноваційних фінансових технологій на трансформацію платіжного ринку, зокрема розвиток безконтактних платежів, мобільних сервісів та токенізації платіжних інструментів. Особливу увагу приділено ролі NFC-технологій як ключового інструменту реалізації безконтактних платежів та підвищення рівня безпеки фінансових операцій. Розкрито сутність токенізації фінансових активів та обґрунтовано її значення як важливого напряму цифрової трансформації фінансового сектору. На основі статистичних даних проаналізовано динаміку платіжних карток, структуру безготівкових операцій та рівень поширення безконтактних і токенізованих платіжних інструментів в Україні. Встановлено, що переважна частка операцій здійснюється із використанням NFC-технологій, що свідчить про високий рівень цифровізації платіжного ринку.Обґрунтовано перспективні напрями розвитку платіжної інфраструктури України, що пов’язані з подальшим впровадженням цифрових технологій, розвитком токенізаціїтабезконтактних платежів.

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the development of Ukraine’s payment infrastructure in the context of the digitalization of financial services.The study examines the transformation of the payment market under the influence of innovative financial technologies, including the rapid expansion of contactless payments, mobile financial services, and the tokenization of payment instruments.Particular attention is given to the role of Near Field Communication (NFC) technologies as a key enabler of fast, secure, and convenient financial transactions in the digital economy.The essence of financial asset tokenization is explored, and its importance as a significant driver of digital transformation in the financial sector is substantiated. Tokenization is shown to enhance the security of financial operations, optimize payment processes, and expand access to financial services. Based on statistical data, the article analyzes the dynamics of payment cards, the structure of cashless transactions, and the spread of contactless and tokenized payment instruments in Ukraine. The results demonstrate a steady increase in the number of payment cards and confirm that the majority of transactions are carried out using NFC technologies, indicating a high level of digitalization in the national payment market.The study identifies key challenges affecting the development of the payment infrastructure, including cybersecurity threats, wartime conditions, and the need to strengthen operational resilience and continuity of financial services.The paper identifies key directions for the further development of Ukraine’s payment infrastructure, with a focus on strengthening operational resilience, enhancing the reliability of payment systems, and expanding the use of contactless and tokenized payment instruments. Particular emphasis is placed on the role of the National Bank of Ukraine in ensuring the stability and continuity of the payment infrastructure through effective oversight mechanisms. The findings highlight the importance of further integration of NFC technologies and tokenization processes as essential components of the digital transformation of the payment market in Ukraine.
