Встановлено, що як і будь-який інший ринок, ринок криптовалют схильний до впливу різних детермінант які істотно впливають на його розвиток. Одним із ключових детермінантів такого ринку є регулювання державних органів та концепція правової бази, на якій він функціонує. У різних країнах світу приймаються різні рішення щодо легалізації та регулювання криптовалют, що безпосередньо впливає на ефективність та привабливість даного ринку для інвесторів і користувачів. Ще одним важливим фактором, який визначає розвиток ринку криптовалют, є технологічний прогрес. Безперервне зростання та вдосконалення блокчейн-технологій, на яких засновані криптовалюти, відіграє ключову роль у розширенні функціональності та підвищенні рівня безпеки таких систем. Автором було проведено аналітичне дослідження щодо розвитку індустрії криптовалют як децентралізованої системи, заснованої на передовій технології блокчейн і асиметричної криптографії. Було з’ясовано сутність і значення основних віртуальних валют, а також проаналізовано їхні цінові тренди як інструмент для прогнозування майбутнього розвитку даної індустрії віртуальних валют. Обґрунтовано інноваційний потенціал віртуальних валют на вітчизняному ринку та ідентифіковані ризики операцій на криптовалютному ринку.
